Design student show in Second Life

Students from London's infamous Goldsmiths College are living up to their neo rep by staging their degree show in the online virtual world of Second Life. "Now it doesn't matter where you are in the world, you can still see our show, and even meet us at our event." [via Artkrush]

Well, I'm late in the game, but I finally found the Goldsmiths show in Second Life. To be honest, I was relatively unimpressed with what I saw. It was a presentation problem -- things were too packed in on top of each other, and if there was a way to learn about each piece and artist I couldn't find it. Overall, it was very frustrating. Perhaps I waited too long and the exhibit wasn't meant to be visited post-event. At any rate, cheers to Goldsmiths for being one of the first communities to really take design seriously in the virtual world, but... there is a long way still to go.
