NEVVER: one img & one mp3

Peter Nidzgorski's NEVVER blog takes one image and one .mp3 file and combines them to create a unique environmental mashup... like a film you think you've seen. The music is good stuff, too—obscure vintage numbers and underground rock. Sound and visual eras crash against each other in fascinating fusion. Think early Hitchcock Angela Lansbury, all cat eyes and poisonous rosebud mouth, combined with the 70s growl of Mink DeVille. Young Dustin Hoffman against the recent Teddybears + Iggy Pop single Punkrocker. Or the iconic bracelet shot from Brick teamed with Final Thrill by the Defectors—both contemporary pieces that conjure up the past. You're not sure when and where you are. A great spin on visual impact, the power of soundtrack, and the designed environment.
