GDBar will return in 2008!
Readers, I admit defeat. Between a soul-sucking commute to the new job, the demands of business and personal travel, technical difficulties, and a bit of burnout that has been long in coming, GDBar has become sorely neglected. I'll be taking a break for the remainder of the year and returning full force in January. Bonus: over the holidays there are plans for some changes to the site—look for a new and improved GDBar in 2008! Thanks for reading and happy, colorful holidays to all.

Thanks Jess -- I am furious that my shift in lifestyle has sucked away all my time and prevents me from being able to visit sites like yours on a regular basis! Arg! At any rate, am making some changes and determined to bring the creativity back. Je reviens!
Rest well and I will look forward to your triumphant return in 2008. Is there any change you might take on contributors to lighten your load?

Wow, thanks for the support, everyone! Greatly appreciated -- and definitely motivating! Glad to know you're out all out there and enjoy the site.
Meanwhile, I've definitely thought about expanding the team -- initially there were supposed to be five people posting but I was the only one who took to it and so eventually it became mine. I definitely don't want to repeat that experience, but I also think that the time has come to bring in some fresh voices. So I'll think more about this and let everyone know.

If you don't happen to enlist new voices I wouldn't fret none Kate - the old voice has been doing pretty goodly up to now. Have a nice break anyway. I've heard of this word h.o.l.i.d.a.y. But what does it mean? ;- )
