Self-described "avid map collector and roadgeek" Adrian Leskiw has been designing his own cities and maps since childhood— his fictional road maps mark the digital efforts of recent years. What I love about these is the disjointed feeling of familiarity conjured by the use of actual place names, and the immediate sense of reality that comes from being presented with maps in this style, which we are accustomed to wholly accepting as legitimate geographic guides.
