Best Worst Video Game Ads

1up gleefully showcases the worst video game and tech advertisements of the 80s and 90s. And they really are astonishingly bad—I wish we'd had time to work things like this into our elitist art school curriculum. Surely neon bodybuilders, bizarre typography, dismal Photoshopping (granted, these are old ads) and the kid with the mullet all have considerable power to scare students into appreciating and aspiring to better design...
